Male Rhinoplasty in Seoul, Korea

Male rhinoplasty creates a straight, strong bridge from the brow to the tip and a balanced masculine T-zone. Instead of curves, the design accounts for thicker skin, wider nasal bones and common issues such as a hump, deviation or blocked septum.

Who is Male Rhinoplasty for?

  • Men with a low brow and bridge that make the face look flat
  • A hump, crooked nose or congestion from sport or injury
  • Men who want a clear, straight line without an obviously operated look

How Male Rhinoplasty works

Male and female rhinoplasty follow different aesthetic goals. Men generally suit a straighter bridge, a less rotated tip and a stronger starting point at the brow.

Male skin is usually thicker, so tip definition depends more on structural support than on thinning the skin. A hump or deviation from earlier injury is often corrected at the same time.

We keep the nasolabial angle at around 90–95 degrees so the tip does not look upturned.

Our approach to Male Rhinoplasty

  1. Masculine angles

A straight bridge and a tip angle of about 90–95° avoid a feminized look.

  2. Function checked

Septal deviation and congestion, common in men, are assessed and treated together.

  3. Thick-skin planning

Structural support is used to define the tip under thicker skin.

  2. Approach and materialsImplant, cartilage or both are chosen for your skin and goals.
  3. CorrectionHump, deviation and septum are corrected and the bridge is built straight.
  4. SplintingThe nose is splinted for about a week.

Risks and side effects of Male Rhinoplasty

  • Thick-skin swellingSwelling in thick skin can take several months to settle fully.
  • Over-correctionA bridge that is too high can look artificial; height is planned conservatively.
  • Congestion during healingBreathing may be blocked for the first 1–2 weeks.

All medical procedures carry risks. Your surgeon will review your medical history, explain the risks that apply to you and discuss alternatives before you decide.

Male Rhinoplasty recovery timeline

WhenWhat to expect
Day 0Surgery and rest in a private recovery room; most patients return to their hotel the same day. Cold compresses start straight away.
Days 2–3Swelling and bruising usually peak. Keep your head elevated, walk gently and avoid alcohol, saunas and exercise.
Days 5–7Check-up at the clinic; stitches, splints or tapes are removed where used. Most patients are cleared to fly after this visit.
Week 2Most visible swelling has eased and many people return to desk work and light make-up.
Months 1–3Residual swelling keeps settling and the shape refines. Strenuous exercise is usually resumed after 4 weeks.
Months 6–12The final result is generally assessed at this stage. We follow up online after you return home.

Aftercare tips

  • Sleep with your head raised for the first 1–2 weeks.
  • Do not wear glasses on the bridge for about 4 weeks.
  • Avoid blowing your nose, swimming and saunas for 2–4 weeks.
  • Stop aspirin, fish oil and vitamin E 1–2 weeks before surgery unless your doctor says otherwise.
  • Avoid alcohol and smoking for at least 2–4 weeks; both slow healing.
