Who is Sub-brow Lift for?

  • You want to remove sagging skin without changing your crease or expression
  • Your eyelid skin is thick and your brow sits close to your eye
  • Hooding at the outer corner causes irritation

How Sub-brow Lift works

Upper eyelid skin is thinnest near the lashes and thicker toward the brow. Removing the thicker skin just under the brow lifts the lid without bringing heavy skin down to the crease.

The scar sits along the lower border of the brow and is usually well disguised once healed, and brow pencil can cover it during healing.

Our approach to Sub-brow Lift

  1. Crease preserved

Your current double eyelid line and look are kept.

  2. Hidden scar

The incision follows the lower edge of the brow.

  3. Outer lid lift

    Especially effective for outer-corner hooding.

  2. MarkingAn excision is drawn along the brow border.

  4. ClosureStitches are removed around day 5–7.

Risks and side effects of Sub-brow Lift

  • Swelling and bruisingMost visible swelling settles in 1–2 weeks; the crease keeps softening for 1–3 months.
  • Visible scarUsually blends with the brow edge; some patients need brow tattoo camouflage.
  • AsymmetrySmall left–right differences can remain because the two eyes are rarely identical; minor touch-ups are occasionally needed.

All medical procedures carry risks. Your surgeon will review your medical history, explain the risks that apply to you and discuss alternatives before you decide.
