SMAS Lift in Seoul, Korea
A SMAS lift tightens and fixes the SMAS — the fibromuscular layer beneath the skin — for a more natural, longer-lasting result than skin-only lifts. It is different from HIFU devices, which only heat the SMAS without surgically repositioning it.

Who is SMAS Lift for?
- You want a natural facelift result
- Sagging is moderate to deep
How SMAS Lift works
The SMAS envelops the facial muscles and supports the skin. Tightening it with plication or imbrication lifts the face from below, so the skin is not stretched.
A deep plane facelift goes further by releasing the retaining ligaments. The right technique depends on the degree of sagging.
Our approach to SMAS Lift
Deeper support
The lift is held by the SMAS, not the skin.
Natural expression
Skin tension is avoided.
Technique choice
SMAS lift or deep plane according to sagging.

|---|---|
| Day 0 | Surgery and rest in a private recovery room; most patients return to their hotel the same day. Cold compresses start straight away. |
| Days 2–3 | Swelling and bruising usually peak. Keep your head elevated, walk gently and avoid alcohol, saunas and exercise. |
| Days 5–7 | Check-up at the clinic; stitches, splints or tapes are removed where used. Most patients are cleared to fly after this visit. |
| Week 2 | Most visible swelling has eased and many people return to desk work and light make-up. |
| Months 1–3 | Residual swelling keeps settling and the shape refines. Strenuous exercise is usually resumed after 4 weeks. |
